HOW FLAMECOOL WORKS
Heat in. Cold out.
A purpose-built FLAMECOOL Candle supplies steady heat to the refrigeration assembly. The flame heats the copper tank and raises pressure in the sealed refrigerant circuit. Refrigerant then moves through the capillary section, where the pressure drops and cooling occurs. The chilled refrigerant circulates through the cooler-side coils, absorbing heat from inside your cooler while the system rejects heat outside. A thermoelectric generator can harvest waste heat from the hot side for auxiliary electrical output.
Light
Light the purpose-built FLAMECOOL Candle beneath the heat-input section.
Chill
The sealed refrigeration circuit transfers heat out of the cooler while the candle provides the thermal input.
